Ways to Get Involved
Be a Sunday School Teacher!
Our Sunday school teachers provide a nurturing, inclusive and hands-on learning experience for children in Pre-K through 5th grade. The message and activities are provided through our Orange curriculum. We also have a plethora of supplies to make planning easy and fun! Teachers are with the children each Sunday morning 8:45-10:10 am. We provide our teachers with annual training and a teacher handbook. Fingerprinting and Safe Environment Training are required as well. If you love to work with kids and are passionate about sharing the love of Jesus, this is the role for you!
Be a Substitute Sunday School Teacher!
Love to work with kids but can’t commit to teaching 1-3 times a month? Volunteer as a SUBSTITUTE Sunday School teacher. We are always looking for a few volunteers to be willing to serve as needed in our Sunday School classes. All teaching materials are provided. We provide our substitute teachers with training and a teacher handbook. Fingerprinting and Safe Environment Training are required as well.
Help with Special Events!
Throughout the year, Children’s and Family Ministries offer a variety of events for the whole family! Whether it be Trunk or Treat, the Advent Festival, the Easter Eggstravaganza, a movie night, a BBQ, or something else, we could use YOU! Do you like to decorate? Want to help set up or take down? Maybe you like to paint? Share your talents with us! Volunteer to help with any or all events!
Help with Vacation Bible School!
Vacation Bible School is in June. We provide an exciting, dynamic and inviting weeklong camp-style experience. All our campers begin in a classroom with 1-2 lead teachers and then visit 5 interactive stations each day! We usually need approximately 100 volunteers for VBS! Join in the fun! It is an awesome week! All volunteers are trained and receive a camp t-shirt.
