Women’s Ministries is an organization of women who are committed to promoting a caring environment for all Mountain View women, providing opportunities for fellowship and spiritual growth. All women members of Mountain View Church, and those who attend regularly, are considered members of the Women’s Ministries organization.
Women’s Ministries contributes to local and international missions and projects at Mountain View Church from monies generated from our two annual fundraisers: a Spring Rummage Sale and a Holiday Boutique.
All women are invited to attend the Women’s Ministries Business meeting held the 4th Tuesday of every month, at 9:30 am, except for June, July, August and December. Unless otherwise specified, our meetings are held in the Annex room #101. Please join us for friendship, fellowship and fun!
Women’s Ministries Groups
Women’s Bible Study is a group of women who love to read and study the Bible. We come from all age groups, and we support each other through all phases of our lives; the joys and the sorrows. We pray to God about our concerns and we praise God for his blessings of joy and answered prayer. Extended fellowship is offered after class by going to lunch. Meetings are held every Thursday morning, September through May at 9:15 am in the EEC room.

How Do We Help Others?
The main focus of Local Mission is to help under privileged and homeless women, children and families to create better lives with a sense of dignity. Our reach extends throughout Arizona, as well as our own church community. Our support is through donations both in-kind (rummage sale items and hand-knitted afghans) as well as monetary.

We have supported missions in Kenya, Democratic Republic of Congo, Uganda, Honduras and Mexico, being able to make a difference in the lives of those in need. Hearing about their progress because of our funding, is heartwarming and inspirational.

Spring Rummage Sale
The 2017 Rummage Sale will be held March 10-11, 2017. Please click here for more information.
The Annual Spring Rummage Sale is the primary fundraiser for Women’s Ministries. The funds generated from the Rummage Sale are used to support charities and mission work locally, nationally, internationally and within Mountain View Church. The Rummage Sale is often referred to as: “The largest fellowship event at the church” as it includes over 100 men and women volunteers working together, daily, to put on this event. While the funds are much needed, the Rummage Sale volunteer experience is something special for our church. Many new Church members have found this event to be a terrific opportunity to volunteer and also a great way to meet new friends.
