Local Mission

We support many familes and children in the local community by working with local organizations.

Foster Care Ministry – The MVPC Foster Care Mission Team provides support to various community organizations which address the needs of children and families in the Arizona foster care system as well as interact directly with foster children.

Special Needs Ministry – The mission of the Beatitudes Special Needs Ministry at Mountain View is to walk alongside families and children as they navigate the unique waters of living with special needs.  We pray to share in their joys, heartaches, and challenges with the love, peace, hope, and acceptance of Jesus Christ.  Our programs are inclusive of children with special needs including learning differences, physical, cognitive, developmental, emotional, behavioral disabilities and autism spectrum disorders as well as PDD, ADD, ADHD, OCD, ODD and medical fragility.

Volunteer opportunities abound whether you have time, talents, or treasure to contribute to these or other missions. Contact Andrew Fosberg for more details about the Mission Council.
What good is it, my brothers, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can that faith save him? If a brother or sister is poorly clothed and lacking in daily food, and one of you says to them, “Go in peace, be warmed and filled,” without giving them the things needed for the body, what good[b] is that? So also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead. –James 2:14-17
